You’ve done the thinking. You’re ready for deeper change.
People usually come to me when they sense there’s more to life, and more to themselves, than the patterns they keep repeating.
- Anxiety, stress or overwhelm is running more of your life than you’d like.
- You’re in the middle of a big life change and aren’t sure who you are on the other side of it.
- Your relationship feels distant, or you keep meeting the same patterns in love.
- Intimacy, desire or sexuality feels complicated, and you’ve never had a safe place to talk about it.
- You’re a man carrying a lot on your own, and you’re ready to stop doing it in silence.
- You’ve had a powerful experience, spiritual or psychedelic, and want help bringing it into everyday life.
If any of this feels familiar, you’re in the right place. This work meets you exactly where you are. Let’s talk

From science, through suffering, to this work
“I came to this work through science, through suffering, and through the practices that eventually brought me home to myself.”
I trained as a scientist, completing a Ph.D. in plant developmental genetics at Trinity College Dublin. In my mid-twenties, the pressure of my Ph.D., a painful breakup and the loss of a close family member arrived all at once, and I went through a period of deep depression and anxiety. Around the same time, two colleagues at my institute died by suicide. That became a calling: to help people, especially men, find support before they reach that point.
- From science to soulA Ph.D. that gave me a deep respect for evidence and rigour.
- A dark night of the soulThe breaking point that became an awakening, and the start of my own healing.
- Years of trainingCounselling, shamanic and transpersonal practice, bodywork, and five years of study and silent retreats in India.
- TodayMentoring, men’s work, relationship and intimacy work with men and women, and psychedelic facilitation.

Anonymous · Retreat Guru
Inwardbound retreats have helped me slow down, take stock, think about my values, and change direction in my life. I have gone to two connection retreats, and each time Darragh created such a fun, non-judgemental and warm atmosphere.
Jessica Holland · Google
I can only describe Darragh and the team as truly transformative. I was apprehensive, as this was out of my comfort zone, but after the first evening of honest, heartfelt conversation I felt right at home. I’m a better person coming away from this retreat.
Chris McLaughlin · Founder
I found him to be open, thoughtful, compassionate, insightful and uplifting. I recommend him as a facilitator.
David · Retreat Guru
An absolutely transformative event, I’m hoping to return every year. I left feeling so open, so grounded and entirely mentally and physically refreshed and nourished. Thank you so much Darragh for all you do.

Men need men’s spaces to heal
In 2018 I co-founded a Dublin-based men’s group where men connect, explore their inner worlds and support one another with honesty and vulnerability. What began as a small gathering has grown into monthly circles, workshops, online seminars and men’s initiation retreats, rooted in the hero’s journey and the masculine archetypes.
When men gather with honesty and vulnerability, they find the courage to face what they’ve carried alone for too long.

Safe, legal and grounded in science
In 2018 I co-founded Inwardbound, where our multidisciplinary team in the Netherlands facilitates high-dose psilocybin retreats that blend the scientific approach of Stanislav Grof with Celtic and world shamanic practices.
- Retreats take place legally in the Netherlands
- Every retreat includes a personalised preparation and counselling programme
- Support for integration afterwards, so insights become lasting change
I do not do any psychedelic work in Ireland, and I do not sell psychedelics or microdosing kits. Psychedelics are not right for everyone. If you are considering one, please speak with your doctor first, especially if you take medication or have a personal or family history of mental health conditions.

The Inner Insights Podcast
Conversations with pioneers in health and wellness, science, spirituality and creativity about their work and their own journeys of transformation.
What is mentoring?
Mentoring is a collaborative process that helps you gain clarity, overcome challenges and create meaningful change. Rather than giving you all the answers, I help you build self-awareness, challenge limiting beliefs, strengthen emotional resilience and take practical steps towards the life you want, drawing on counselling, somatic practice and, where it fits, spiritual perspectives.
Who do you work with?
Men and women who are ready to grow. People often come to me while navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship or intimacy difficulties, life transitions, questions of purpose, men’s wellbeing, emotional healing or integrating powerful experiences.
How are sessions run?
Online by video call or in person, depending on where you are. Each session is tailored to you and may include reflective conversation, coaching tools, psychological insight, somatic exercises, mindfulness and practical next steps.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals. Some people benefit from short-term support over three months; others choose ongoing mentoring for deeper growth and accountability. We’ll talk about what suits you on your consultation call.
How much does it cost?
Programmes are tailored to each person, so pricing depends on the level of support and length of the programme. We’ll go through the options on your consultation call so you can choose what fits.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in our sessions is treated with strict confidentiality, so you can speak openly and honestly.
Do you work with people outside Ireland?
Yes. I work with clients around the world through secure online sessions.
Do you work with psychedelics in Ireland?
No. Psilocybin retreats take place legally in the Netherlands through Inwardbound. I do not do any psychedelic work in Ireland, and I do not sell psychedelics or microdosing kits.
Can I book you to speak or run a workshop?
Yes. I offer keynotes, panels and interactive workshops for companies, conferences and festivals, in person or online. Get in touch with your event details.
Your next chapter can start with one conversation
